Being Considered

Ideas on the table, not commitments with dates.

  • Custom backgrounds

    An image, gradient, or solid color behind the countdown instead of the fixed dark/light/minimal themes.

  • Time visualization options

    Beyond the text countdown — candidates include a "weeks of your life" grid (the classic memento-mori visualization) or a shrinking progress bar for percentage of life lived.

  • Widget customization

    Choosing your own layout and position for the timer, tagline, and menu on the new tab page.

Reflect — a journal, eventually

The new tab already has a "Reflect" button that shows a "Coming in Future Updates" note. The idea: a private, local-only place to jot a line about the day — no cloud, no account, stored the same way everything else in Ashes is. It's a real concept, not yet scheduled.
